Hugh Crabtree is the founder and boss of Feast of Fiddles. From it's conception to present day, he is the driving force within the team and also administers in the backroom.

Hugh plays melodeon and sings as well as compering the show on the night.

Hugh still plays for ceilidhs and morris as well as in a covers band of local repute with John, Martin and Dave – The Usual Suspects.

He is based in Reading along with most of the members of the backline and by day manages his own business manufacturing controllers for agriculture.
